Do you think that this system will be able to do everything that I’m wanting to do?

If anything is a bottleneck on this system, it will be the integrated graphics. I would have purchased a laptop that had a discrete graphics card over this one, as Photoshop and the Sims will slow your system down due to the lack of dedicated graphics. Have of your system memory will probably me used for graphics memory (it can be adjusted), so if you are set on this, I would add another two GB of memory to this system. Hardware and drivers will steal some of your memory as well. If you had 4GB of memory, there would only be 3.2GB available due ot hardware usage, then subtract from that what the graphics is going to steal. You can expect a similar percentage loss with 2GB
