Computer Card Games To Buy

Is it worth buying a powerful computer with a high end graphic card to play games?
Is it worth buying a powerful computer with a high end graphic card to play games ( and still wait months for the PC game release? ) or better buy ps3, x box or Nintendo consoles and play the games as they are launched?
I think that the best way to answer this question is going to be based on your preference for playing video games. Some people such as myself very much prefer the mouse and keyboard approach as opposed to a controller. Although a powerful gaming rig will cost much more than a PS3 or Xbox, it will be both upgradeable as well as usable for other activities. A high end computing rig will also outperform consoles by far. There are actually games that have been released for consoles that show graphical lag (such as GTA4 for PS3) and there is nothing you can do about it. The type of games you wish to play also make a big difference. If you enjoy having people over to your house to play games, or as something to do at a party than a console is pretty much the way to go. Consoles also lend themselves more to the “kicked back on the couch in front of the big screen” type of gaming (although with the right cables and a USB controller your computer could do the same thing.)
So obviously both choices have merit. As you can see I am partial to computers myself but I can see why people also choose consoles. If you are going to go off the deep end and get a really nice gaming rig, do yourself a favor and don’t go to a trendy brand name site like Alienware. If you have the knowledge and ability build it yourself, you will save alot.
