What’s a good board/card game for two adults that doesn’t require a ton of reading?

I’m a trivia whiz that can’t walk and chew gum at the same time

Thus far, the only game we have that we can play without friends is Upwords (hubby rocks at this because he has to unscramble every word he sees anyway).

Settlers of Catan is a fun board game which is similar to Monopoloy and has won numerous awards for game design of the year by K. Tauber. Settlers continually rates real high with a lot of fun loving types, each time you play the game the board is different so that changes your strategy.
