Spider Solitaire not working correctly?

Saw this question. Supposedly closed. I have Win XP and logitech mouse. I have trouble dragging cards. I have installed the latest driver. I have re-installed the game. I downloaded another version of spider, same problem. It did work correctly about a month ago after a fresh installation of Windows. I suspect the operating system! Any suggestions? I can’t do a fresh windows install evertime I want to play the game. Anyone have this problem who does not use a logitech mouse?
