Gamestop power-up card info?

Alright,so i wanna trade in some games for cash but i have been told if i just took raw cash they would take like 20% off the things i sell! So my question is,what excactly is a Power-card? Is there money on it? Most importantly,if there is money on it,can i buy games online with the money thats on the card? (Like say,i traded in games and they were worth 40 bucks and they put 40 bucks on the card and i went to gamestop.com to buy a game like Pokemon Battle revolution online,could i buy it with the card from online,thats what im trying to say)

No the card is not like a debit card at all. If you get the normal free version it’s just like a rewards card. You get points and can redeem them for small prizes on the website. If you get the premium card for like 14 bucks you still get the points. The only difference is you get a small discount when you buy stuff. The card has nothing to do with money or trading games. Yes you will get more money if you choose to put it on store credit rather than cash. Usually the more games you trade in the more you get.
