PokerStars Free??????????????

Alright so I’m trying to learn Texas Hold’em but would like to learn how to play for free. After downloading the software(2x) I am still having no luck. Every game I click on is telling me I have insufficient funds, or visit cashier. When Iooking on the website or visiting the cashier I see NOTHING that says “FREE” or “FREE GAME”. So is the free advertisement just a ploy to get you and your credit card on the site or can u really play for free without putting a credit card in. Or is the card just for validation and can I trust it not being charged ? Dying to play, if anyone can help or maybe point me in the direction of another cool FREE site I would appreciate it.

Pokerstars.com has play money games, it’s not just pokerstars.net. Pokerstars.com is actually better to play on, as you can win real money in freerolls and still be able to use it (unlike on the .NET version).

Open the lobby and log in. Click on “Holdem” at the far left of the games menu (right below where it says “Pokerstars”). Right below where you clicked on “Holdem”, there are three categories: Fixed Limit, No Limit/Pot Limit, and Play Money. Click on “Play Money.” Those are the free tables.

Keep in mind that you only start with 1,000 chips, so make sure you buy into a table with low enough limits.

If you’re like to try some small tournaments instead, click on “Sit & Go” and “Play Money.” If you’d like to try large tournaments, click on “Tourney” and “Freeroll.”
