One Person Card Games Directions

Creative ways to present an art project for critique from class?

for graphic design class we have to present a hypothetical project (like a logo, business card, letterhead) and present it in a game-ish way (aka not a powerpoint). one example of this is one team is doing a ball with words like “line” and “direction” on it and you throw the ball and whichever word the person’s thumb lands on, they have to critique using that word.

we’ve thought and thought and can’t come up with anything good. any ideas? thanks!

i guess you could have people draw words out of a bag with different questions on them to answer. For instance, what famous artists would most likely paint this? How would this picture/ design feel different to you if it were in color or black and white? Why do you think the artist picked these colors and what colors might you have used instead? What was the first thing you thought of when you saw this picture? What kind of company traits do you expect when you see this logo? Not sure that helps but it’s all I could come up with.

When I teach, I do test reviews in a jeopardy format with the class made into teams and then I put subjects up on file cards and the teams have to pick a question and answer it and the one that gets the most right gets something small (usually a sticker worth 2 pts on their next test) – you could give out hershey’s kisses or life savers instead if you can find a method of incorporating that into your critique/
