What do you think about this online game idea?

I’m thinking about creating an online “trading card game” using flash.
The “cards” will be different creatures, super humans etc.
The users can only battle 1v1 using only 3 creatures and different items, all of them achievable by defeating a lot of opponents.
The fighting system will be turn-based, the creatures can evoluate and become stronger by gaining items and I’m thinking about a system that allows players to submit their own creatures. If they are lucky their idea may be implemented in the game.
