will this card im thinking of buying play my games?

I have a dell dimension E310 with a pentium HT 3.06 Ghz, 1 gig of ram, and a crappy chipset. It is made to be a media computer but there are no pci express 16 slots on my my motherboard. Even if i upgrade my mobo, it wont fit in dells BTX case with a cooling hole. I am looking at PCI cards to play the list of games.

P.s I am getting RAM also 2 gigs. I know PCI isnt good but i want something to play games on my computer.
I know crysis, far cry 2, and fallout are not going to look great but will it be on low or medium?

Check if you have an AGP slot instead. It should be brown and above the PCI slots, positioned slightly farther inward from the back of the case. PCI cards are horribly slow due to severe lack of bus bandwidth.

For AGP, one of the best cards you can get is the ATI 3650, which should be able to play all of those games.

With standard PCI, you’re definitely taking a performance hit, and likely would not be able to play the latest games. (Fallout3, Crysis and FarCry2 especially.)
