I was thinking of doing a yugioh card game club for free do you think that people will come?

I loved yugioh so much as a kid, and i was going through my old stuff and saw my old yugioh cards and i rememred how much i loved them and i realized i wouldnt mind playing it again and i thought a club would be fun were we meet up like twice a month maybe like the first time we meet we just chat have some pizza and duel whoever and the second would be like a mini tornament were we pick a name out of the hat and duel till like the last person and that person would win a lil prize or somthing. I wouldnt mind renting a small place for when we do it, but do u think its a silly idea or it sounds like somthing you would like 2 do? i think the age group from 17 to 27 would be good

Well first of all you should adept yourself with the current meta: Syncrhos, X-Sabers, Gladiator Beast, etc. And the current play style, Yu Gi Oh has evolved a shit ton since the time you probably played.

Local Hobby League Stores, Comic Book Shops, Card Shops hold tournaments every week or so, find one near you.

You’ll probably find the most diverse age groups at these Yu-Gi-Oh events, you have kids playing from 9-13 as a fad and whatnot. Then you have the more serious players aged 16-30, who play competitively, and there’s always those 30+ guys who also play it as a hobby.
I’d say about 1/6 of the people are under 14, 4/6 are between 16 and 30 and another 1/6 to those over 30.
