Does anyone know any fun card games played with few cards?

Hello,

I’m looking for card games. The fewer cards the better. We play with someone who is visually impaired, and he has trouble keeping track of all the cards on the table. We have a few games that are fun, but we exhausted those. And i’m looking for new ones!

What we know:
31 points (3 cards each, one trade a turn)
‘Toupen’ (4 cards each, played with ‘strikes’)

What we know and don’t play:
Spades / hearts – no – played with all 56 cards
Blackjack / 21 points – no – based on chanse calculation, no social interaction, no fun.
Texas hold ‘em – meh – it’s too serious and no fun when people drink, also, you have to read your opponent.

Any more fun games anyone knows of? Links// rules included is preferred, as we might encounter some obscure games here. Or tell me to ‘google it’. Either is fine.

I forgot Uno, we own a deck of that. Otherwise, 56 standard card deck (possibly jokers)

Euchre can be a fun game to play, as it can be as social or serious as you want it to be. It requires only 24 cards — all of the 9′s, 10′s, Jacks, Queens, Kings, and Aces.

As a side note, have you considered “high visibility” or large-sized playing cards?
