What is the name of the game with multiple decks, many wild cards, and 10 rounds of different criteria….?

You can also “buy’ cards from other players. The criteria are a bit like rummy in that you have to get runs of 3 or 4 or 5, as well as straights.
Like I said there are a lot of wild cards. I believe 2′s and Aces are wild. There is a draw pile and a discard pile and if I remember correctly, you deal almost the entire deck–you start with alot of cards in your hand.
If anyone can help me out with the name of this game and where I can find the rules I would be forever indebted. You see, an old neighbor lady has passed away and she used to play this game with me and a few of the other neighborhood kids many many years ago. We all called it the Granny Game and none of us has ever come across it since. Its a really fun game to play and I would like to pass it on to my children and tell the story of ‘Granny’ and her wonderful butter candy. Thank you.
