why i am not able to play the yahoo free card games?

Can be any one of several things,do the following things and you should be playing in about 10-15 min. Do in order listed.

Most toolbars like yahoo, google, foxfire and internet explorer have pop up blockers! When you try getting in lounge or room and it doesn’t work. click on pop up blocker on yahoo, google, tool bar. On the drop down list click on Always allow tab it will say recent pop ups blocked. high light yahoo.com then click allow.
. IE browser settings to allow pop ups Right click on Tools, internet options, privacy tab, cookie over ride. Type in Yahoo.com, allow then ok. This is the proper way to use the pop up blocker. I have never had a problem or had to hold any keys down to get in.
1st thing you do when you get in lounge is check small windows in options box. Once in room make sure you expand it to see chat area. You only see top half of the cards but you can still play. This also gets rid of the big ads at the top of the rooms.
Try using my favorite method to get into games. Remember with a back door, on lounge select page change the number to the ID you want to use. Your oldest will be #1 then 2-3-4 ect. If you have deleted any you will need to skip that number.
Here is a easy fast way into games. Log on to yahoo mail, minimize it. Go to http://www.shove-it.com or http://www.amishdonkey.com find game select lounge page you want to play. Click on file, send, desk-top short cut. Or add to your favorites. This gives you a straight link to shove it. Now click on game lounge you want to play in, beginners, intermediate etc. You can do this for each card game or board game . it’s faster then going Through yahoo page . Nice thing is you can get in any lounge or game that’s full or not. If you prefer not to use a back door, just go to game. Be sure you log on mail or any other yahoo site, like answers, so you are logged in before going to games.
Still not working? Do this; Right click on tools, internet options, general tab, temp files settings button, view objects. High light the game you are having a problem with. Delete it. Now log onto yahoo mail, minimize it then go to game. A new demo will pop up, down load it. Game should now work.
The fact I use msn virtual machine instead of sun java may also make a difference. Yahoo games, mail, and messenger, have conflicts with sun java. Rather then trying to work around them. Here is the easy and fastest way to cure them. These simple setting changes will fix 90% of all problems caused by java updates. While you need java for yahoo sites, you do not need Sun Java virtual machine (the coffee cup) to launch them. You can set default here! … click start / settings / control panel
Now open the add / remove programs folder
Click on set program access and defaults
Choose Microsoft’s Virtual Machine java … NOT… Sun java.
Using the new security code; Yahoo’s new defense against spam bots getting into game lounges. Type them in order listed left to right. No spaces. Use only lower case letters no caps. The main problem is numbers verses letters. Example small “o” is a letter while “0″ is a number. Type all letters in lower case. Double check before you hit enter. if you get it wrong it will let you try again with a new code. Also pay attention to the lower case letters as some are hard to recognize with the line running through them. If this still fails and the code keeps opening a new window. Try turning off your firewall.Or setting it to allow games.yahoo.com. I have this problem using Foxfire. No problems with IE. Update yahoo has made the code shorter easyer to read and use. If using Norton security it helps to turn it off until you get into game lounge. The looping seems to be caused by security firewalls. I use IE6 and have my cookie over ride set to allow games.yahoo.com. ( tools, internet options, privacy tab, at bottom click edit add yahoo.com click apply ok ) So far only with foxfire have i had a problem.
