Is the curse real? Are the Cubs doomed for eternity?
So, as you all know…the cubs, once leaders of the nl central have now dropped one and a half games back and seem to be free falling but with the division being so bad, they still seem to be in the thick of the race as milwaukee still faulters but as a cub fan, I look to the curse. I remember the bartman ball last time the cubs were poised to hopefully win it all, and this year things have been turned around and looked great, but Zambrano left the game for heat related sickness and today he didn’t pitch the greatest, and also here come the cards. Oh yeah, one more thing…Alfonso Soriano..aka..the offense is hurt, leaving the cubs without a punch because aramis ramirez is battling injury…should I throw in my towel or do they still have a chance?
i’m right there with you, man. i hope that the cubs pull outta this slump and pass the brewers! in a weak nl central, i thik they can pull it out as long as they stay within a few games of the brewers when alfonso gets back. eventually, the cubs will get their looooooong deserved title. if the red sox can get over the curse of the bambino, we can overcome this curse!!!
