how to get the internet on the wii for free?

ok so i got a wii and its brand new i got a couple games. the man at the store told me i could get internet for free but i cant get the internet. Can you get like google earth on it cause that would be sweet if you could
P.S a video may help me too and i dont have a ”SD” card i think thats what its called…. HELP

Correct me if I”m wrong, but To get internet on the wii you have to get Internet in your house, or where you can access a WiFi network. Once you get your Wifi set up, you can browse to the Wii Shopping Channel and buy the Internet program. Looking at the internet on the Wii really sucks though, it’s slow, the graphics suck and you can’t read anything, the resolution is so bad.
