Need a new video card for gaming?
I have been experiencing lag on games from Steam such as Team Fortress 2. This is not just little lag but major lag.

On this speed test I checked with the correct location and I got as a result of internet speed test
Download-6513 kb/s and Upload-974 kb/s and Ping-15
I have 2.7 Gig. of ram. Processor is AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3800+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.4GHz and my video card is a Nvidia GeForce 6150. I have a lot of free space in my hard drive.
I am wondering whether I should have a better video card or it’s just my internet. I do not have any viruses and I do defrag my computer and have disk clean ups etc.
So do i need a new video card? Which should I buy? I am not aiming to buy a very expensive one. Maybe a video card around 100$ or less. And how do I know if my video card is compatible with my computer?
You do not have a “real” gaming graphics card but just slow integrated graphics. Your internet connection is fast.
Graphics card OPTIONS:
Cheap= ATI HD 3650, HD 4650 or Geforce 9500GT
Good= ATI HD 4670 or Geforce 9600GT
Those cards would cost less than $100 but would really do wonders to your current PC.
