are there free games to download to add to your Wii?

I noticed how you can plug in an SD card into the Wii and takes things off of the card and put them on the Wii such as pictures.

I was wondering though, are there any games people have developed that you can save on an SD card on your computer, go over and put the SD card in your Wii, and put the game on your Wii Channel screen as a game?

this seems so easy im sure some people already have done this, but im not sure. maybe no one has yet, or maybe it’s not possible

but if it is possible to download 3rd party games online and use a SD card to put them on the Wii let me know!

Theoretically, yes. Can you do it now? No, and not for a while I’d assume.

Nintendo has a paranoia about pirating software. We can’t even copy games we download on one console, put it on an SD, and play it at a friends house on their Wii, even though it could be coded to never be copied off the SD card, but oh well.

The only thing close to copying content on the computer and bringing it to the Wii, is that some games let you play MP3s off an SD card, like ExciteTruck.
