Different Solitaire Card Games

my pc keeps freezing up and iv tried everything but it still is freezing up .?
ok i have reformatted and reinstalled xp pro i have removed everything but the viedo card and iv tried 2 other viedo cards, i have 512 ram and i took 1 out 256 stick out at a time and even tried puting 1 in a different slot. the fans are working fine on the heatsink and i made sure it was clean and the fan is working fine on the power supply . its a pentium (R) 4 cpu 1.60 GHz 1.62 GHz 512 gb ram maxtor 6LOGOJ3 55.9 gb hdd windows xp pro sp2. i havent put any other software in it yet, i will be fine for a wile then it just freezes up for no reason, most of the time it does it when i go online for a few min and it freezes up when a page loads or something has alot on it, i was on dialup and i thought it was the modem so i changed it then i gotdsl and it still did it so i removed that card and got a wireless usb adpter and it still does it, im running out of things to check. it does it even if im just playing a game of solitaire sometimes not on line. any ideas anyone?
the first thing i would check is bios settings for timings and other setings .. then i would make sure all the drivers were the ryt ones and installed ..then i would try another harddrive .. then maybe look at the psu ..
