how to play ps 2 games on pc ?is there any software?

I have a 3d card in my computer. i want to play ps 2 games in it .But i don’t know the required software to do this .Could anybody tell me how to do that??

well you can try to connect your ps2 to the pc with a VGA-BOX or a TV (tuner) card for you PC, but this is nothing else than playing ps2 on your pc monitor(meaning you will still have to youse the ps2 itself to play the game, only you see it on the pc monitor, so I dont think this is what you are looking for)

then there are some PS2 Emulators
a ps2 emulator is a software, which makes it possible to play some(not all) ps2 games on your PC, BUT not by using the normal ps2 game-CD, you have to use a “ROM” file, which you have to Download somewhere.
But this is illegal, unless you actually own the PS2 Game you are downloading the Rom from(a “good” PS2 Emulator is PCSX2 afaik)
