A few Yu-Gi-Oh card game questions?

Just some things I’m wondering about. Please answer as best as you can. Thanks.

1) Why is Pot of Greed and Allure of Darkness Forbidden and Semi-Limited and Pot of Avarice not? I mean, with Pot of Avarice you don’t have to give up anything, plus you get to return five monsters in the Graveyard to your Deck, and you end up drawing two cards as well. ]

2) Don’t some cards get high rarities just because they look cool? ‘Cause I think they sometimes do.

3) With all the fast Synchros, Blackwings, Lightsworns and crazy stuff like that, are well-made Ancient Gear decks still good?

4) When was Dark Magician of Chaos first put into the Forbidden list?

1) Pot of Avarice you have to have at least 5 monsters in your graveyard, if you don’t, you can’t use it making it only good later in the duel (if you can get that far). Pot of Greed allows too much draw power. Most people have darks in theirs deck so they had to limit Allure of Darkness.

2) Nowadays in my opinion some cards come rare or even ultimate rare, i don’t get konami’s way anymore.

3) Today’s metagame is very fast paced so you have to have a deck with fast draw power or any easy way to get through your deck to get your best cards.

4) Dark Magician of Chaos was added May 15th? It was a rare exception in an emergency banning due to the OTK (one turn kill)
people would do.
