Counting Cards in a Blackjack game?
ok so i understand the whole counting system with blackjack, the +1 -1 thing. what i dont get is how to use it. with what count should i bet high/low? and if your using only one deck, shuffliing after each turn, does it still work? do you have to be using multiple decks?
so if the deck is shuffled each time, how is it possible to bet high or low before each hand. i dont know much about casino blackjack, i just play with friends. im not sure what a shoe is but if your just using one deck and shuffling it after each round is it possible to count the cards?
Each time the deck is shuffled, the count resets to zero. The idea is that when the count is high, there are much more face cards and aces than small cards left in the shoe. This gives you a better chance of making good hands (20s, 21s), as well as a better chance of the dealer busting. In theory, you should bet more when the count is high, and less when the count is low. However, if you do this in a casino, you’re probably gonna get caught and be asked to leave.
