Uno card game rules?

I was playing the card game Uno with my dad and we starting debating about one of the rules. For instance if you put down a red 8 then the next person can either put down another red card or any coloured 8. We both agree on that. But if someone puts down a red 8 then can the next person put down two number 8′s of different colours? Thanks

according to the rules you may not do this move. However if you want to, the rules are sometimes expanded to allow this.
