MAGIC TRICK???! i dont get how it works helpppp!!!!!?

i downloaded this DSi game from the shop called “master of illusion express: deep phyche” and there is this vanishing card trick that compleatly puzzles me. they have you shuffle cards and then pick any 5 you want. then you have to picture it in your mind and then they turn the cards over, make a card vanish, and turn them back over and the card you were thinking about is gone. ive done this many times and so have my family and friends and it works everytime! i just dont get how it does that!? it said that supoosivly the DSi can sense brain waves. that CANT be true…right? ANY CLUES HOW THEY DO THIS???
