I’m having problems with a ps1 game any ideas why? Any help is appreciated?

This is the problem. I attempt to play a full season of Triple Play Baseball 2001. During the middle of the season after playing my game it will go to the usual loading saying please wait for the post-game results while it’s loading & it will just stay that way no matter how long i wait for the loading to happen. this has happened everytime i start a new season. As a result the game is never loaded & i never finsish the season.I have tried different things. I got a new playstation system & got a new cd of the game i erased the memory card & started over again but i still get this problem. Don’t know what do do anymore. Any ideas as to why & to how to fix the problem will be appreciated. have a good weekend.
I meant i got a new disk of the game not cd. Apologize for the error.

It’s probably a bug in the game. I would contact the manufacturer of the game.
