How to play the card game spoons?

I have three players.
and is it a good game to play with kids like 7 or 8?

sit in a circle
with four of you there total, put 3 spoons (or it could be anything else)
on person starts off with the deck
he/she deals 4 cards to every one

the object of the game is to get all the same number in your hand. you can only have 4 cards in your hand at one time, so if you have 3 kings, and you pick up another king, then you have to discard your queen (or whatever your other card is). once you have four of the same card, you pick up a spoon from the middle of the table. if yo see a player pick up a spoon, then you pick up a spoon. the person left without a spoon is out and you play again but only the person is out and you also have to take out a spoon (kinda like musical chairs)
The dealer will have four cards in their hand . then they pick a card up from the deck, if they want to keep that card then they replace it with a different card from their hand. when you replace a card, or pass on a card, you pass it face down to your right.
if the person on the right is the dealer, then you don’t pass anything on. you just keep a pile there.

remember, you can only have 4 cards in your hand at all times. no more, no less.
