Ok i have a question about the game kings corner, when you run out of cards in your hand are you the winner?

well me and my uncle are arguing and he is telling me that when you run out of cards you keep drawing from the deck, from all the rules i am reading on the internet its saying that the first person to run out of cards in your hand your declared the winner is this true?

Absolutely not!!!! If you run out of cards in your hand you don’t keep drawing except by a card effect(like card of sanctity or pot of greed) or win the duel.You draw cards only with card effects or at the start of your turn.You also don win the duel.You draw during your draw phase and if you use the card you drew,you just wait until your next draw phase.
