How can I buy MS points on the Xbox 360 using a credit card?

I want to give my 2 boys each 500 MS points ($6.25) to spend on their avatars. They each have a silver account under my gold account. If I buy the points using xbox.com the points go on my account and I can’t shift points from one account to another.

I know I can use retail cards but they don’t come in amounts less than 1600 points ($20) each and I don’t want to spend $40 when I can spend $12.50.

I thought there used to be a way to use a credit card to purchase MS points over the Xbox 360 itself but I can’t find it. This way I can log into each kids’ account and buy them points.

Please remember, I’m asking about buying MS points only – for spending on avatar clothes, buying online games, etc. – not paying for a xbox live membership.

but to purchases using your console fist sign in the profile of who is to receive the points goto the marketplace goto the items you wish to buy ad hit buy,it will then say not enough points add points now? hit yes and there you go all the options you need =D
