kingdom hearts RE:Chain of memories wont save?

ive been looking around online and couldnt find anything on how to fix this. when i go to save in the game it says i dont have enough room on my memory card, i have a 32MB! i checked and have plenty or room. its a max memory. plz plz plz help! ive played every kingdom hearts game EXCEPT THIS ONE :’(
