Wii SD Card = Free games?!?

My friends older brother has an SD card in which he can put into the Wii and succesfully play the games he got on the SD card that he downloaded from the internet… He has so far been able to suceed doing this with Pokemon Rumble, and has loaded several other games, but they wont launch for some reason.

Could somone please explain how to do this? Can somone perhaps send a link to the software/firmware needed to do this? Can somone please send a link to a site with Wii ROMs? Anything would be good regarding this, THANKS!
