Activities for young children?
I am going to be babysitting my two younger cousins (Devin age 3) (RaeAnnah age 6) I have babysat them before many many many times it used to be 3-4 times a week every week. But now they are older and I need more structured and planned activities. I dont want anything to do with watching TV AT ALL
My stepdad works late until 4am and so he will be sleeping when they are here so it has to be quiet activities…

So far I have
-Dress Up
-Print out color pages
-Kid Songs Kareoke (like little miss muffet and itsy bitsy spider etc.)
-Hide’n'seek (THEY LOVE THIS GAME
-And Card games like Memory or Old Maid

I need tons of ideas just stuctured and fun quiet and something that will keep them entertained… They are HECTIC children.

Buikding blocks, make a ‘competition’ who can create the best tower etc, kids love competition! * remember to have a equal draw of fights will break out!

Jigsaws are usually great, but the 3 year old may get bored. my eldest is 3, and has a short attention span, like most 3 year olds. At that age they tend to want to do what they want to! If you try and tell them, it usually backfires and they sulk etc.
So i have learnt yo let him take the lead as to what HE wants to doe, Ie colouring play doh etc etc.
3 yr olds like physical play, maybe you could take then to a park? Or a big frild to play football. Or maybe one of them sioft play areas, they love the simple thing likethat.
Make a day of it, pack a picnic, and get them to help with what you eat etc etc. They would love it, And then they will be worn out at the end of the day, so sleep well!!

Hope this helps you a bit, its what i have too stick yoo, as i ahve a 3 yr old and a 3 month old, it’s all about a easy life!! As long as its not going to hurt them, let him choose. Give him a few options, but structure and schedules etc, will go straight out the window, trust me lol
