Can I install a CPU fan on an ATI graphic card
I have an additional CPU fan and I wanna install it on my graphic card (ATI 4850) which is overheating because of the bad fan installed on it
I know it requires a modification and may not even work but I am video game player and living in a hot zone.
note: I wanna install a CPU fan because it is powerful and will do the job perfectly and silently

My PC is loaded with high performance and the only issue is the GC which is overheating that’s all so please exclude “buy a new PC/GC” kind of answers
It would be helpful if you posted a picture of your graphics card.
Since your CPU fan is a 3 pin, it should work fine by plugging it into one of the “case fan” connections on your motherboard.
I can’t really tell how big the fans are with the scale of those images, and you won’t be able to just screw the CPU fan onto your graphics card. Tape it down over the heat sink with a little bit of electrical tape if you are really desperate!
Anyways, that Everflow fan is dated back in 2005. How did you get your hands on a 4850? =) Random Google images I hope!
