What are some Thanksgiving activities for a small family?
I would like to do something a little different than playing ordinary card games ( i.e. rummy, old maid, crazy eights) or board games ( i.e. yahtzee, scrabble, backgammon). We don’t have cable, and I’m hopping for something that doesn’t involve the TV. Unique games or activities that involve going some where, as long as they don’t cost over $20, are really what I’m looking for.
Everyone tell a story about what they are thankful for, draw pictures of turkeys their hand for an outline, color them and have a silent voting contest on who is best. Get a bunch of different cheap pasta and dried beans and make pictures with them or use whatever is in your pantry, or make them into Christmas ornaments on paper machete balls. Look up origami site and fold birds to paint and string up on Christmas tree. Ok, thats about it. Good luck!
