Texas Hold Em Cash game Rules?
In a cash game when there is a new table and all 9 players are high card’ing for the button, what is the rule? I KNOW in tourney’s it goes ace, but bridge rules (spades hearts diamonds clubs). My question is, is it the first Ace that gets the button? or is it by the rank of the suit of the Ace? If you know the answer, please give me a source
Varies by cardroom. Some go by first A, but most I have been to deal the whole table and go by suit on multiple A’s. Ones that go by suit will sometimes go by first A if it is a freeroll or something. Saves a couple seconds I guess? LOL
All the online sites I have played at go by suit, and I have played at 8-9 different rooms.
