Card Games Bridge Play Now

Okay PC gamers, can you help me?
I need a PC with a motherboard that supports AGP video for the games I want to play now.
In the future I’ll need to upgrade to PCIe. There are AGP cards that have a AGP-PCI-E external bridge chip. Will I still need a motherboard with both an AGP bus and a PCIe connector? Or does this bridge chip just simulate PCIe? Or what exactly does it do?
I’m so confused.
If you buy a computer now it will have PCI-e video.The AGP is bye bye,so there is no motherboard that supports both.
EDIT: to etheesdad……the solution you provide it to solve connectivity issues but the performance is laughable.Someone with your knowledge should know that.The guy wants to play games so performance matters.Lets give people answers they can help them, not answers that make us look good!
