Visiting my Brother…what are some good adult Card games or board games?
I will be traveling to see my bro. he has lost his job….I hope to take his mind off his problems for awhile…what are some good board games and card games…we could play.
It depends on what you expect from a game (and what game you can find) the site http://www.boardgamegeek.com/ will give you all the information you need about tons of board games.
I would recommend “Ticket to ride” which is very popular and can played with 2 players. If you have little board game experience, Celtica is quite simple and simple. For 2 players “Lost cities” is probably also a good choice (and the box is small and not too expensive)
If you prefer “abstract” games. Blockus is a good choice
Now if you want to keep him addicted you can try “Magic the Gathering” (warning: this can become quickly very expensive)
