a card game name sam?

last weekend i had a cousin over to my house and she played this card game name sam. It’s not really a game she told a story and as she told it she threw out the card that was pertaining to the strory. sam was a 3 of clubs and at one point sam said he was 37 and she threw out a 3 and a 7 and then he said the felt like he was 47 and she threw out a 4 and a 7 he paid the driver who he was telling the story to 50 dollars and she threw out 3 tens and 2 fives and so on. my cousin will not tell us the trick to the game. anyone ever heard of this game/ story
