Best Computer Card Games Software

Ok so after asking several questions on here, i’ve come up with a final gaming computer.
These are the specs
Intel core 2 Duo E8400 3.00 GHz 6Mb Cache, Manufacturer Supplied Cooler, 4Gb Corsair Memory DDR2 1066 (2x2Gb), 500GB SATA Hard Drive, , , QCE – ASUS P5QL – 1600FSB DDR2 1066×4 P43 chipset, 896Mb GTX275 PCI Express Nvidia DDR DVI, 6063 Shiny Black Midi Case HD Audio 8cm fan 450W, CiT 700W Black Edition PSU, DVD+/- RW – 20X Samsung Lightscribe, 52 in 1 card reader internal 3.5, Integrated Sound Card, Intergrated Monitor Speakers, No printer, No Operating System, No Additional Software, Wireless card PCI, , Standard Warranty, Standard England & Wales Shipping
Trouble is, after being told the processor wasn’t very good on the last one, I don’t know whether to get Intel core 2 Duo E8400 3.00 GHz 6Mb Cache or Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 2.66 Ghz 4Mb Cache.
Either way the computer will come to £620, I just can’t decide which one would be best for playing games on high settings.
The E8400 will do just fine for medium gaming. The problem I see here is you are purchasing an additional 700w PSU with your Case that already has a 450w PSU.
I recommend by saving money you should buy the case and PSU separate instead unless of course you don’t need the 700w PSU (i doubt it judging by that video card)
