how to fix my r4 sdhc problem on my ds?
i brought a r4 sdhc card and i have got a 2 gig memory card with it and i set it up with the version 1.18 and it works fine but then when i put a game on it and say yes to make a save file and set it up it crashes and then i swichted the ds of and then back on and now it just comes up with loading and it never loads so i put the memory card in my computer and it formated it and i put all of the stuff back on and it keeps doing the same thing it wont let me play games what do u think i have got to do to make it work? please help thanx
i have one of those card too, i just got it and although I’m not great at technical things, i think it may be because you have used up too much space on the card. You have to leave around 1/3 of the card free so that the games can create save files. It may sound a bit complicated but the games have to create a save file so that the data for the game you play can be saved somewhere. The reason there is no save file to start with is because you have not played the game and there is not data to be saved other than that of the actual game program… etc. What i would suggest is for you to, when you are loading the games onto the card, check how much storage has been used up and leave roughly 1/3 of the card free for the save files.
When you try to play the games after you have done this, just click yes when it asks you if you want to create a save file and it should work. if if doesn’t, then i don’t know, sorry.
